About Roc Rooms & Rentals
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide housing that
makes it as easy as possible for students to live while
they continue their education. We believe the best way to
accomplish this is by working with each student individually
to get you set up in a way that works best for you. It is
also vital that we strive to always ensure the student's
satisfaction by anticipating your needs and quickly addressing
concerns. Your housing should be a source of relaxation and
never frustration.
Our History
Roc Rooms & Rentals began as a single-family house in the summer
of 2001. Jesse Casper, the founder, was looking for an apartment
for his friends and himself. Finding nothing that really met
their needs, he decided purchase his own. From 2001
to 2003 they lived in the 6-bedroom home he bought, working through many of problems
and frustrations of shared living and having a good deal of fun in the process.
Eventually some of his friends moved out and he began looking for new roommates. It was
then Jesse realized that there truly is a need for housing for students who want to save on costs, meet new people,
and have the stress taken out of setting up a place to live. There were the foreign
students new to the area who wanted to meet new people. There are students who don't want to take out
another huge loan to pay for housing, or have to pay for furniture they will use for only one year. And there
are students who no longer want to deal with the stress of wondering if their roommates can pay the bills.
In Addition, students like the convenience of paying only one bill for their housing.
After graduating from RIT in 2004, Jesse was able to grow Roc Rooms & Rentals
with his first duplex on Congress Ave between the airport and the Univeristy of Rochester. Since then Roc Rooms & Rentals has added
4 more properties and now has 20 bedrooms being rented. With further expansion in the years that follow our goal is to have
100 rooms available in 2010.
The Team
Brett Iwanowicz
Vice President
Brought onto the team in 2008,
Brett has quickly become an integral part of Roc Rooms & Rentals.
To simply put the title property manager does not do justice to
the work Brett does. He fills many of the day-to-day roles that
keep the company running smoothly. With his Human Resources degree from St. John Fisher,
Brett brings immediate knowledge and a care for people that allow him to
maintain our high standards.
Michelle Caracci
Real Estate Agent
Michelle joined the team to work with investors that are interested
in purchasing property to be managed by the company. Her superior ability
to understand needs and locate quality property has allowed her to quickly
grow as an agent. After working with Michelle only a few short months we realized
we would recommend her to anyone. With that in mind we knew she would be of great value
to the team, and she has continued to prove that we were right.

Jesse was able to start this business on his own but
he quickly recognized that he would never realize his dream
without the help of others. Jesse Continues to put full energy into
keeping Roc Rooms & Rentals running well and growing
every year.
